Following a resolution by the municipal council, the city of Müllheim is currently conducting research on the Nazi era in Müllheim and its surrounding districts. Similar projects have already been carried out in Lörrach and Weil am Rhein—featuring publications and exhibitions in the local museums. Historian Dr. Robert Neisen, who played a key role in those projects, is now examining Müllheim’s Nazi history through his Freiburg-based firm “Zeitlupe” in collaboration with the Markgräfler Museum. The resulting exhibition, titled “Community – Faith – Violence,” will open on October 18, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. at St. Martin’s Church and will run through May 30, 2027.
