Inside America

An intercultural experience in your classroom

Inside America offers students in the Freiburg administrative district the opportunity to experience the U.S. firsthand. To this end, visiting students from the U.S. come to the schools and bring their perspectives directly into the classroom.
Through personal interaction with the American students, authentic encounters develop that go far beyond traditional language instruction. The program thrives on conversations, shared activities, and direct interaction: Students improve their English skills in a playful way, hear personal stories, challenge stereotypes, and gain a deeper understanding of life in the U.S.

Strengthening media literacy and improving English language skills!

At the same time, they improve their English skills, develop an understanding of cultural differences, and reflect on key challenges of the digital world—all with a practical focus, creativity, and fun.

Apply Smart with AI

Job Application Training for Students

Prepare your students specifically for the next step after high school: “Apply Smart with AI” is an interactive workshop for high schools that provides practical guidance for the transition to college and careers—and is conducted entirely in English.
The workshop demonstrates how artificial intelligence can be used effectively as a supportive tool in application processes—for example, with resumes, cover letters, and strategic preparation. The clear focus is on the fact that AI complements the learning process but does not replace personal effort or judgment. At the same time, your students’ critical thinking skills are specifically strengthened.
A special emphasis is placed on fostering media and writing literacy. In addition, participants gain valuable insights into the differences between German and U.S. application and higher education cultures. Through practical exercises, they learn to critically analyze AI-generated content, revise it, and transform it into authentic application materials.
In addition, the workshop provides up-to-date guidance on when the use of AI is appropriate—and where it should be deliberately avoided.
Help your students start their future with competence, reflection, and self-confidence—even in English.
