Sarah McCammon

Sarah McCammon is a Senior Fellow at the think tank Third Way, a national think tank and advocacy organization in Washington D.C. that champions moderate policy and political ideas. Third Way’s work on the center left acts as a critical bulwark against political extremism.
She served most recently at NPR as a national political correspondent and host of the NPR Politics Podcast, where she reported on presidential campaigns, the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, and the intersection of politics and religion.
She is a sought-after speaker and the author of The Exvangelicals, a 2024 New York Times bestseller. Her journalism has been recognized with numerous national honors, including a 2023 Edward R. Murrow Award for reporting on reproductive rights.
