Nancy Meier

Nancy Meier is the New England Patriots’ longtime Director of Scouting Administration, whose remarkable 51-year career with the team made her the longest-tenured employee in franchise history. She joined the Patriots in 1974 at just 19 years old, shortly after studying fashion merchandising in college, accepting a position typing scouting reports despite admitting that typing wasn’t her strongest skill. Over five decades, Meier became an integral part of the team’s scouting operation, helping evaluate and welcome generations of players to New England. Her historic tenure came to a memorable close after the 2026 NFL Draft, when she made her final selection call to fifth-round pick Karon Prunty. As she enters retirement, Meier leaves behind a lasting legacy of dedication, loyalty, and service to the Patriots.
