Join our Teaching Team!
We welcome applications from native English speakers with prior teaching experience who fulfill the following:
- Native English speaker
- Foreign language teaching experience with individuals and groups. Preferably two years min.
- Have a university degree, TEFL qualification preferred
- Have sound knowledge of the English language with the ability to explain grammar points and cultural differences clearly and concisely
- Have icebreakers, lesson plans, and ideas to incorporate different media in the classroom
- Valid work permit for Germany, if applicable
- Intend to stay in the area for at least a year
- Working knowledge of German (A2-B1) and awareness of problems German learners of English have
Expectations
- Personable and motivational teacher
- Punctual and well-prepared
- Adaptive to the level and needs of course participants
- Allow maximum speaking time for active participation
