The Carl-Schurz-Haus promotes transatlantic dialogue through cultural events, English courses, counseling by EducationUSA, and its English-language library. We welcome cooperation and support for our cultural program, our library, or projects in early childhood, youth, and democracy education, such as:

• Carl Schurz Scholarship for a high school year in Freiburg’s sister city Madison, Wisconsin
• Scholarships for our Green Academy for Kids & Teens
• Invitations of international speakers
• event catering

For companies that think and act internationally, a partnership with the Carl-Schurz-Haus means more than just cultural engagement. It is a visible commitment to openness, international responsibility, and social engagement.

We offer our partners two forms of support:

• Major Corporate Membership: With an annual contribution of €5,000, you make a substantial contribution to securing our work. As a Major Corporate Member, we see you as an institutional partner who supports our work not just selectively, but structurally and significantly. Further information can be found here.
• Sponsoring / individual support: In addition, we offer project-related or theme-focused support that ties in with your business priorities. Further information can be found here.
