Escape the dullness of everyday life by joining our weekly Book Club with stories that take less than an hour to read. We’ll have lunch with writers like Herman Melville, Alice Walker, or Edgar Allen Poe.
This is a brown bag luncheon event which means you can bring your own food and eat during the session. Drinks and copies of the stories we will be discussing will be supplied and are included in the fee. It is advisable to read the stories before the sessions. Please sign up for this event and to receive the titles of the stories. This format will take place every thrid Friday of the month.
This month, we will read the following story:

You will receive the stories via email upon registration. Alternatively, you can pick up a copy of the texts in our library. Please let us know in advance via bibliothek@csh-fr.de.
Our Lunch Club is hosted by Marie Malcovati who studied Drama at Manchester University (UK) and Screenwriting at the Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg. She lives near Freiburg where she works as a writer – one who loves the short story format.
