Club meeting

Since 1987, the quilt club has been bringing together creative minds who are passionate about patchwork and quilting. In a cozy atmosphere, we exchange techniques, patterns, and new ideas. The history of the quilt, originally a three-layer, hand-sewn throw, dates back to 17th-century America. Today, quilts not only keep us warm, but often serve as wall decorations. By using different fabric remnants, quilting is not only sustainable, but also produces unique, individual works of art. As members of the Carl-Schurz-Haus, club participants can work on their own projects and inspire each other every last Friday of the month.

Would you like to come by for a trial session? We look forward to seeing you! To help us plan, please let us know in advance: info@quiltclub-freiburg.de.
