If you\u2019re an eligible voter living in and around Freiburg, the Carl-Schurz-Haus is here to help you register and request your absentee ballot for the upcoming midterm elections.<br \/>\nVoter registration is essential if you want to receive your ballot and cast your vote from abroad. Our in-house Federal Voting Assistance Officers, Ashley Matth\u00e4us and Sabine Pawletta, will guide you through the registration process and help you complete the necessary steps to vote from overseas.<br \/>\nTo make sure you continue to receive absentee ballots while living outside your voting residence in the U.S., it is recommended to submit a new voter registration for each election cycle.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT INFORMATION<\/strong>: Please bring your Social Security Number and, if possible, a State ID or valid driver\u2019s licence (not accepted by all states).
