250 years of the United States\u2014that\u2019s certainly a proud anniversary, though it\u2019s one that can still evoke mixed feelings these days. We\u2019re celebrating with you anyway. Or perhaps: precisely because of that. America won\u2019t be this young again! <\/p>\n
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States\u2019 Independence Day, we\u2019re hosting our annual \u201cIndependence Day Party\u201d on Sunday, July 5, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the open-air Ganter-Haus beer garden at Leo-Wohleb-Stra\u00dfe 4. What brings us together isn\u2019t a particular opinion about the state of the country\u2014but the belief that spare ribs, live music, and good company can help in almost any situation. <\/p>\n
There will be a big barbecue featuring hot spare ribs and plenty of grilled food, cold drinks from the beer garden, live music, a professionally supervised kids\u2019 corner, typical American sports activities to try out, and, of course, the \u201cWatermelon Eating Contest\u201d for competitive eaters of all ages. Everyone is welcome\u2014regardless of their current feelings toward the birthday boy, the USA! <\/p>\n
